One thing i've noticed about alot of these ales is I seem to get a bad one now and then. Is this a common problem. I stand my ales up in the fridge and slow pour incase there is any sediment at the bottom but still seem to get the odd wrong un which was from the bottom of the barrel?.

Is there some sort of a stigma to McEwans champion as i've mentioned it a couple of times to fellow workers and get the old intake of breath reminiscent of the time I asked for a head gasket quote at the local garage.
