As far as I could gather reading his other threads/comments, he was a tad antagonistic.

Going from the stuff I read on his thread about stealing timber, its no great loss IMO.

Why?

Sent from Hodge's eye phone using the new fancy Arbtalk Mobile App:)

He is what is generally known as a "troll". That is, someone who goes on for a like this just to wind people up and be unpleasant.

taking a reading from the side of any timber is not recomended. most moisture travels thru the ends of logs not out thru the side. take a reading from each end, and a middle and average.

Soz big beech, took a reading from the end and it was 10%, thought it may be showing off if i put that on :001_tt2::001_tt2:

Its gone for ever in the system. Anyway you have no excuse your only just down the road so you can come and have a look you know your always welcome you might even find a big butt you fancy carving. It is far easier than trying to explain but if you want I can do another PM.

So what do people think wil be the average price for a cubed metre next season.:confused1:

We start at £70 then for every cube there after it gets reduced by £5, as it saves on the delivery costs and time.

max 6 bags on the truck.

That IS a sensible fair pricing system.

I like.

£57.50 for 6 on ave

£62.50 for 4 on ave

sounds about right

evens stevens say £60.00/cube

hardwood I presume.
