Let's start a petition to get them to re-introduce the MS200t, how many members you got here?

It amazes me that when the T540xp eventually goes on the market, Stihl will probably lose 100% of the top handled market, when they used to have 100% with the MS200t/020t

The 201t is the biggest flop in chainsaw history

Yea it is but is because of the emission regs ? If Husqvarna have made a cracking saw to equal or better a 200t and then have to dum it down to met emission regs it could well be just an orange 201 ..........

Exactly, i bet its going to have no more punch than the 201. Husky have to abide by the same rules as the rest.

I love my 201 better and more power than the 200T

Hated the husky 338 and will certainly not be buying a 540 till it has been out a while.

Amazing how much flack new stuff gets from all the initial buyers expectations

Mmmm, that is a valid point Bob for sure.

One thing I'd point out though is, there cant be many folk on here that have used both the 540xpt and the 201t to give a realistic comparison.

As it happens I have, and as a result I WILL wait until the husky is released properly

A friend of mine went on a husky training day a few weeks back and he was told they were going to try for a May release but looks like it may be more like September ! Emission problems which means they are looking at the carbs apparently.
