i lived in morzine france for 3 years running a lodge, sking/snowboarding winter mountain biking summer best time ever. unfortunatly not going riding this year got a wedding to pay for.

can't wait for my kids to start so i can teach them.

hope the snow is good for those going have herd from some mates that it's prety good at the mo and should be a good season. Happy sliding whatever you pleasure and safe trip and stick up some pics to make me real jealous

After falling 15m off a ski lift in Meribel, les trois vallees last year, I think I'm gonna have to give it a miss (how ironic for a qualified climber).

Heading up to Glenshee in a few weeks time when there is enough snow. Its only an hour and a half away so I can go midweek when there are smaller queues. One of the benefits of being self employed.Ocassionally go to Aonoch Mor which is about 2 hours away.

Nice one mate. I did three season in Morzine. I worked for snowboard lodge for the first year then just chilled for the other two.

Livigno, Italy, for a week in february.

 

Great atmosphere, good skiing, and TAX FREE

Might try on Telemark skiing this year. Looks cool, except when I'm doing it

 

Looking forward to it. Not doing much climbing these days

 

Livigno is a great little resort with decent open runs. Some nice steep drops and crests to cane it over. Last time we went though the temperature had started to creep up a bit so the bottom of the runs started to get slushy. Transfer for us was a long one. Think it was a 5 hour bus from Bergamo.

 

Went to Slovakia last year with some mates. There's a place that is starting to invest heavily in it's snow sports! Cheap for food and beer too. Think a premium beer was about 35 pence. It got messy on an evening due to said pricing...
