I only ask as I lost track of who had the high bid.

 

Looking back I think it was Ian, so guess its upto Huck if he wants to deal.

 

Can we split the load if it ends up even bids?

Hope you sell them mate. Offered a nice lot to the local turners and carvers and by the time they'd looked at my stack of yew by the cord heap,shook their heads and sucked their teeth,i didn't bother.

Logged it up for firewood and made twice as much.

I recon all wood workers follow the same code of practice :sneaky2:

 

1 try and get it delivered for nowt

2 collect it for nowt

 

if these fail blag it and promise to make an item in return for the timber :sneaky2:

 

Seing the size of the butts I recon you'll be lucky to get an egg cup in 4 years time :lol:

I put some on here for sale a while ago and after being thoroughly messed around by someone who claimed to `hunt yew` I have decided just to log it all in future. Its not worth the effort to deal with the wood turners from a log sellers perspective.
