Well explained mate, and nice work.

How are you getting on with the extra cab Hilux?

Thats’s what I fancy next.

Not related to the thread topic at all but two mates have both got low mileage newish (less than 3 years old) Hiluxes and they have both had to have new transfer boxes under warranty. Neither are worked particularly hard - used more as cars than work trucks tbh.

Cheers mate.
We love it mark! It’s comfortable pulls like a train and can take it off road. It is surprising what you can fit in the back aswell. We have the i for tipping trailer aswell if we ever run out of space tho [emoji1303]

My boss bought it brand new in 2018. We’ve not had any problems with it so far touch wood. It’s covered around 12k miles

The old faithful 06 plate Transit is still a great work horse, and I’ll stick with it until it fails on emissions.

I’m well aware I’ll be losing about 40% load capacity, but I’m doing smaller jobs these days, and have plenty of mates with bigger trucks for volume jobs.

I also have loads of tip sites locally which are inaccessible for the Transit in the winter.

Yesterday's job:
Whilst eating a sandwich,
clients very small terrier type dog stuck his face in my coffee and was lapping away. I threw the coffee on the lawn.
Next thing this dog flys in from the left, takes a bite out of my sandwich.
Everyone pisses themselves with laughter.
The lads are still texting me today....
