out of interest what age did you first get into climbing and tree work?

Thanks. Id just turned 17 when I started climbing. I'll be 44 in August. Never felt better.

Don't know. Still had plenty foliage low down but on its way out by the looks.

Took down this rotten old ash on Saturday, not my job is was grounding, the daylight you can see through the tree in the second picture to the left of the ladder was through a hole in the trunk rather than the canopy, had been pollarded few years back after a large bow tore out of the right side apparently crossed this garden and the neighbours, had decayed downwards from the tear, dug a barrow full of soil out of the cavity before ringing it down.
