Redwood removal today, large merip infested beech had gone over and give it a good thrashing on its way down and had left quite a deep rub mark on its side.

National parks tree officer decided to lift the tpo and allow the removal because of the worries of failure, nice target drop zone in the old horse Walker. Started tidying the beech but that will be to finish in the new year.

Yeah nice work on the walnut. As much as I love these kind of jobs, they can be proper hissy fit jobs. Lots of slings and quick groundsmen are the trick. Again good work

All credit to Ollie really, we were just the ground crew. It was twisty and whippy stuff. He did a good job as a lot had to be cut and chuck or rigged. Thanks
