So today I got to revisit an old friend:     My first encounter was a year ago when I damn near cut through her in a cavity in the underside of an ash branch in a nature reserve.

Very smooth couple of hrs on this sycamore this morning

Nothing crazy here, 70ft ish Grand fir removal.  But had a friend come along and take some proper photos for once!

A few pics from a sycamore removal we did today.

Supposed to be crown lifting street trees but got to this one and it had a deep and ugly rot hole right beneath and equally ugly union. Main stems weighted towards two houses so down it came. Three groundies, one in training so worked out well as the trainee got to experience some rope control using the portawrap.
