Exactly Dave. He would have been happy, as would any of us to dismantle with a crane. He did have a bit of a moment up there but all good. But didnt think it would be fair to expect us to dismantle it like that.

 

Which I think is a great quality and I have respect for people like that.

Amen to that rich , sounds a great company to work for , like Dave says you have to respect the gaffer who leads from the front thoughtfully and has no qualms getting stuck in.

wasn't worth the risk mate to rig it, too much decay in the stem low down.

 

fair play to him he had the tree down to about 3 metres by 10.30.

Nice oak dismantle today in the pup for 3

The farmer wanted us to put it in a pile and he was going to sort it.

 

Reckon there was 25ton of good timber in it.

 

Wish id taken photos of yesterdays job that was better again
