I believe this one is rated to lift 1.4ton. but I'm guessing thats without attachment and close in. I wouldn't be surprised if the grab weighs 300kg, and it holds the weight an extra meter out so probably under a ton realistically.

 

With pallet forks id expect it to easily lift a pallet weighing over a ton.

Mondays job was the felling of 4 pines and a spruce (no pics) tuesday was loading up and grinding the 3 stumps on the lawn.. 65m3/18.5ton of wood and branches.

Todays morning job was rigging down a maple (windy hence rigging) driving it out, stacking ready for collection.

What happensto all the wood once it's collected and why no chipping in site ?

Had to fell these two today. One Sycamore leaning back over a road and towards the railway also growing out of a really steep bank , also among the phone and overhead lines, also raining and blowing a hoolie , Great :) . The other a 100 foot Poplar with lean back and the wind in it next to a power line. No room for error so winched them over.
