Todays job is clearing the last few clumps of plantation to reinstate a grouse moor. Method: 1. Cut fire break around plantation. 2. Light it. 3. Go back with mulcher to trash the remaining trunks to remove perches for crows etc.

We've cleared approx 800 acres this way in the last 3 years.

This job was actually Saturday, taking down a decent sized poplar. 2 of us went up and had it down by ten:) bit of clean up although all the wood was staying

Thats rob keeping hydrated lol

 

Didn't need to with that rain today!

 

Found hundreds of bottles and cans and bags of rubbish and all sorts. Got to go back and do a litter pick!

is there any chance of any pitchers of the skids, ps is it chains or blades
