Long day yesterday on 2 large trees. Decayed London Plane next to / over the house and various targets which needed a fair bit of rigging and then Lime in the garden which could be smashed down 👍👍

 

Plane is such a PITA to chip as so twisted so burning it on site.

 

Still a lot of clearing up to do, but wanted the trees on the ground within the day.

 

First time I've found a bees nest in a tree - fascinating cross section!

Someone mentioned the risk of that but I didn't have a problem. Was a strong wind so it blew the dust away pretty well. Apart from when you had to cut with it going in your face 🙄

I've never had a problem in the winter, spring and summer is a whole different story, IME.

I thought it is the fur on the back of the leaves that made/released the itchy dust with London plane? Hence having no problems with it in winter. It can be nasty stuff to those that react to it.
