Good morning my lovely friend ?

I do not own a pair of wellingtons lol ? I spend five days a week in a pair of brasher boots which have to be THE most comfortable boots in existence ?? My whole uniform consists of Black lightweights and black tops and coats !!!! Not an attractive sight I’m afraid ? So Stubby is a shoe snob then ?

Somewhat! Just the rubber boot type. They must be a brand that he recognises as top notch, otherwise, he will cut you dead.

I saw a root that size this week and my customer was saying its costing £400 for the surgeon to grind it out. Mate works with the railway and he was up North last week. Told me the surgeons were getting £800 a nightshift because they need the work done. They were only needed for a few hours but the line was closed and had to reopen for 6am. ?

Astonishing costs on shut downs or possesions. Basically charge wot you like and they  wont have been on track for more than  a few hours. Non of our possesions go past 0400hrs. K

How can you not own a pair of wellies? ?

I have some steel toe Dunlops, and a matching pair of riggers. Used to wear them with my wet weather gear when i worked for the AA. (The other AA.)

Most comfy boots i've ever found are Puma Caminar GTX. If i could still get them i'd buy all that i could. These are about a week old, i have another pair new in a box. I'll cry real tears when they're all worn out.

Awwwww they look comfortable ?? I don’t know why I don’t have Wellington boots really ? my brashers are gortex so completely dry and cosy. And they are like slippers inside because of all the padding. I have been wearing boots for decades in my different careers and these exceed my expectations and last a good while honestly. I must cover about ten miles a day at work so comfort is important ? gosh Im boring myself lol ?
