Nothing exciting, oak reduction previous cuts were awful.

Crap anchors, spanned two limbs.

Ash reduction, tight drop, plastic corrugated sheeting, AstroTurf and a green house. 

Had been absolutely hammered in the past completely flat not to points. Did the best I could, not pretty but not worse. 

 

Tpo'd complete waste of a tpo

Spare climber gave us a hand to chuck it into the tight drop area, I went over the stubs I left some as I was uncertain if I was going to leave it or take more.

Second job for my little mincer. Smashing thing. Loves conifer. 

I've found with my Jo Beau that you get better mincing of the greenery and less blockage from it if you post narrow brush like that into the machine the wrong way round. You get a better mix of green and brown material being chipped together: with the branch the 'right' way round you chip all the brown, then all the green

Blocking isn't a problem with just the smallest smattering of vigilance. I only held that bit back for a slightly finer mince. It had the power to take it through unattended. The problem with tip first is that it means butt last. Heavy bits can bounce around on the drum and come back out of the hopper. This is my first attempt setting the anvil gap. The manual is sod all use so I'm learning as I go. Going to try a slightly larger gap for a greedier feed next time. Has your Jo Beau got a feed roller?

Two little laurels and a little holly through the little mincer. Client left a flask of tea for me and a little bowl of dog treats for Sailor. £600 minus whatever a grinder costs. Freelance climbing massive shit the other end of the country can fack off.

Nice pouring mechanism. Made before 10:00. Still drinkable at 15:00.
