@Mark Bolam you want this kinda thing, different makes have different lengths, you want one with both legs the same length. Baler pick up tines are much the same. Most agri dealers will have or get similar 👍

Thanks Will, they’d be just the ticket.

Any advice on drilling/bolting to a light rsj?

Ideally I’d want to just pick it up with the grab rather than fannying around making a different headstock for it and swapping attachments.

just get an old RSJ and hold it in the webbing so that the lower edge sits lower than the grab, it'll naturally want to sit at a bit of an angle which is perfect for clearing up. if you go steady you'll be able to clear up pretty well without any tines on it. We did it with our digger for about 3 years until I bought a purpose made brush

previously topped at 20’, so multi-stemmed, dead middle shitbags.

All assisted fells.

Oh they would have been so tedious if they had to be a climb and dismantle.

Finished dismantling this Lime near home yesterday. Customer wanted it down to make way for photovoltaic panels. Trunk is 5ft form the house wall. Appeared healthy enough. Had previously been topped off where trunk was about 16 - 18 inch diameter and had grown 15ft shoots since then. Cavity went to below ground and to about 18ft above. Customer was please they had it down!

Most of them are.a single bolt for each pair of tines. Some use a coach bolt some a normal bolt but with a special cap (washer with sides kinda thingy)
