Nice Ash to come out due to more buildings going up, Ollie climbing Chris and me ont ground. Chip and wood staying. 8.30 start and ont ground for 12 and had a 20 min tea break sat in the sun!!

 

Would that be Ollie Bennet mate?

We had to remove 2 conifers today and the neighbours asked for a price to remove the birch. We did well in 3 bits. The more I use a Hobbs the more I personal prefer it over a grcs.

 

We had a rigging line in each tree and used whichever angle made the most sense for the branch being removed. Picked them both apart in no time and used the front tree to remove 2/3rds of the back tree quickly with rigging.

Had to deadwood this thing today for the highways agency, was surprised it wasn't down for a removal over two footpaths and next to a very busy road. Forgot the after pictures but looked better than I thought but don't give it much long term hope.

Nice lime we dismantled on Wednesday, just me n the grumpy groundie, was a bit of a pain as had to keep coming down to help him sort the tangle! Followed by a whitebeam guarded by an owl I didn't want to deafen😀

started these two macs today, bit bigger than the norm for us, but got a new mega bollard and did some good whole limb balances, and sunny too!
