Had to fell these two today. One Sycamore leaning back over a road and towards the railway also growing out of a really steep bank , also among the phone and overhead lines, also raining and blowing a hoolie , Great :) . The other a 100 foot Poplar with lean back and the wind in it next to a power line. No room for error so winched them over.

out of intrest would you/did you stop the traffic as the fells took place?? or 100% trust in winch and felling?

Stopped the traffic and had two guys on the pavement. Its the foot soldiers and cycle riders on the pavement that cause the problems not the traffic.
