Id personally vertical speedlined the sections to eliminate the "Nooooooooooo" risk, but obviously she was got down with no damage so good job.

The Tree was in very Poor condition,the Root plate was lifting and had separated from the Rock face behind by about 4".There were also holes in the Root Plate that were longer than my Arm.And negitive rigging of that Tree would have been pretty dodgy.The car park was closed,the building vacant and the Beer tasted great at the end of the day.

So why not get a crane in for a controlled lift? I know a platform would be a hindrance in this situation as it would be in the bombing line. Just curious thats all.

Because I was sure I could get the Tree down without a Crane.Just like the old days.

I was also thinking maybe hiring a bouncy castle and dropping it onto that could be fun.....

Normally I use a Truck load of used Tyres,then use them to fire the Brush pile:thumbup:
