Ok, it's time to replace my series for a more modern truck. I would like a 130 tipper, but they are hard to find at the right price. So i have few questions for those with experience:

1. Does anyone use a 110 single cab tipper? If so what volume does it hold and is it 3500kg (which 110s are)?

2. What volume can you get it a 130 crew cab?

3. Finally, what volume can you get in a 130 single cab?

I don't mind converting to a tipper if required, but i need a 4x4 and cant think of any alternatives (less RB 44 and i don't want the expense/ hassle with an O licence just now)...

Cheers in advance for any replies.

Got the dreaded mot coming up on the disco.

All looks sound and fine and all the basic stuff is ok. But got a little bit of rust hole in the door seal on the wheel arch area. They are small holes where rust has gotten through. Would these constitute a failure? A bit on the boot aswell but not structural is this area a failure. I'm sorting it out with plating and welding soon but the way the weather is going I won't get many dry days to do it in.

The back end of discos are always crusty

If the rot is in the back doorwheel arch below is a fail.

Put your hand under the back bumper about a foot either side of the centre line, the read body mounts are there and they are often crusty and they are well hidden. You will be able to feel any rot with your finger ends.

The boot floor shouldnt be a probelm but on 7 seaters rot along the seams can fail the rear seatbelt mounts.
