Stihl 026, bullit proof wee saw. I like the 13" bar because it is good and fast, but 15"no bother for firewood. Look after it and it will last for years mate.

It's a big mistake to use an "occasional user" saw commercially.

 

Get a Stihl "professional user" saw and you will really feel the difference.

Looks like youre chain is a bit tight mate,going by that bar.Try turning the bar as well.

It’s not the colour of the saw that’s the problem, just the colour of the back handle. Change it for a white one and all will be well

Had an offer of a new ms250 with 18inch bar on ebay for £253,is this a fair price?

No, dont buy any saw off ebay. Go to a dealer so you,ve got some comeback if needed.

i would rather buy a new under powered saw than take the risk of e bay!,some dealers have a nice selection of second hand saws,i picked up an ex demo 372xp with about 2 hours on could not resist for £400 !

Why Not? i have bought loads of tbay, yes had the odd problem but they have been sorted out, had some cracking deals aswell, regarding come back, you have just as much on the net and if you pay by credit card even more so granted you cant just pop it back but to be honest it aint that much hassle posting it. bought new and used with no problems, better if you can collect as you can inspect it. I would always support my local dealers first and for say 30 quid i would go there but after that i will consider the net.

our local dealers useless i would call them a bunch of hunts (spelling) but hunts have 1 good use.

if theyve sold something faulty then they will find a way of wriggling out of it
