blu-tac and a paperclip to replace the busted distubritor rotor arm on an 1100cc Polo.

Bought a proper replacment but then got tired of waiting for my "bodge" to fail.

(And I thought it would be lucky to see me home)

So I replaced it anyway!

How many people on here use a bungee to hold the throttle open/closed on their TW?

Probably 8 years and counting!

My first post on this thread . budgie with a long service medal . Holds throttle open on Jensen A540 , Stops jockey wheel winding down on same when traveling stops big step ladder sliding out of truck when chip box is full . Wish I had invented it !!

The baked bean tin must be the most used bodge ever.

My first car went four years with a tin wrapped around the exhaust. Passed every time.

Think a new exhaust was about 20 quid. But beer must come first.:lol:

Just been clearing down the laptop of old images and came across this one.

Before I purchased my lovely stihl collection, I was using this old naff saw for ground work etc - its cr*p but did the job at the time.

Anyway, one day the air filter / spark plug cover screw thingy broke on site, so a quick fix was done to keep the job going.

Its still sitting the in the old shed thinking about itself to this day... :laugh1:
