To give them a job if they can't follow simple instruction.:)

I wouldnt employ someone who:

cant read a job post and understand it regarding contacting us.

can't be bothered to be proactive with regards to finding a job in the firstplace.

Can't put together a CV.

Fortunately these people dont waste my time in the first place as they are weeded out by the fact that they havent contacted me full stop or have called me with an "alrite mate got any jobs" attitude and when asked to send in a CV of quals etc cannot or do not produce one.

Ive had three CV's this week alone from people looking for work. All of them well laid out, all by email. One stood out because he worded his cover letter respectively.

Even if it turns out that he is crap at cutting trees - his politeness will have gotten him the try out day/ interview. And unless bellow the ability and standard I require for the given post would possibly, therefor, get him the job.

It's called politeness and is in short supply with youngsters- they don't realise they are doing it- obviously haven't been taught by their parents properly.

Their loss- give the job to an older more polite person.

Goes with texting that they slept in etc.

I won't have it:thumbdown:

There is some reasons, that some youngsters don't have manners, becuase yeah some don't get taught them, but others like me that was brought up properly, and taught manners, and get tarred with the same old brush, don't say it's youngsters becuase it's not just us
