Farmers that i know have had to apply for a burning licence.

Its a simple thing to apply for and costs nothing.

It's all i ever do, i work out on the norfolk broads for the RSPB and the like have just in the last week burned about 5 acres of reedbed no-one seemed to mind gave the fire bridge a call to let them know so they don't rush over it's all good but we are a bit behind the times over here
