Granted the 200t is the best. But i've had 201t 6 months now and i really like it,yes it bogs now and then but its just a case of getting used to it.

I agree, in fact I prefer my 201 to my 200, sure the 200 has a little more grunt, but I find the 201 handle a better shape and feel its better balanced.

I think you just need to use the 201 a little differently, it needs to be allowed to cut at its own pace, especially if your using the more aggressive chisel chain.

Could you get used to err , say black and white tv ? I don't see it my self . ours was a wast of money but was the only gig in town at the time . The 3x 200t were in the shop . we won't get used to it .....

Ok getting used to it wasn't the best phrase, what I meant was like Skyhuck said

''use it differently''.It's a different saw after all.Adapt and overcome.:thumbup1:

All these negative comments, I've had mine 2 years now and from day one was head and shoulders above the old 200. An older guy who works for me just got himself one and moans constantly that its not as good as his 200 but seems fine to me. I think some people just don't want to like them.

Well I really wanted to like it but in terms of engine performance, compared to the 200 it's a poor replacement.
