CONVEYOR BELT =awsome idea to stop marking

we have a kubota st30 thats great for arb work in large gardens.will tow the tw150 no mither, recently drove it up a river to a jobsite, worked aswell as a tracked chipper and made less mess.

got a 5ft finishing mower and runs it no mither, also a 1.2m verge flail, awsome power to size ratio and easily transportable on the back of the truck :)

Not sure if I have enough experience to advise. But if it was me I would buy something like a ford 4000 with 4x4 if they do one . I have had a couple of compacts and found them really expensive on parts and a bit light weight. I will buy what I call a big little tractor if that makes sense something 35 hp + with cab not japanese and defo not chinese.

we had a john deere 4520 for a while, quick hitch loader, turf tyres, and full cab. was nice to use. hydrostatic drive so was easy to use. it got sold when the company that owned it went under and now we have a 2520, it will fit on the trailer behind the landy and we set it up for a boom sprayer, all bolt on and very versatile, we run a flail mower, stone burier, power harrow and a loader on it, not enough flow on the hydraulics to run a splitter though. we have the big 6330 for that

As I am off work with a split thumb, I thought I would share a pic of my latest toy,

Kubota b2410 with loader (my missus at the wheel) I bought it primarily for loading large rings but it runs the topper for the fields and a multitude of other things. I was after a mini loader but the flexibility of this won me over. fits easy in a trailer, quick across the ground, easier on the grass than tracks, the list goes on. Cannot wait to use it in anger!

All smaller tractors have got gie dear, or am I getting old:blushing:

Anyway horses for courses, yes the Kubota type stuff is very capable, but the parts can be eyewatering expensive, there were not so many small agric tractors with 4WD, but perhaps someone is importing from Italy or somewhere where they were more prevalent.

Deutz, Landini, Same (noisy wee brute though) etc

Or indeed a J Deere, we run a 45 HP hydrostatic here at work, on turf tyres with a JD loader.

A proper "wee honey"..........................but erm.................probably kinda expensive

And at just 2 tonne odd perfectly legal to transport behind a suitable vehicle, within the 3500kg Max

One of my better decisions.
