Rain all night and apparently it’s chaos here again judging by posts in the local Facebook group. Certainly not as bad as the other week and for the most part people are just being hysterical. Roads are closed, schools are closing etc etc.

 

if there’s one thing the nation learned exceptionally well from covid it’s how to be as lazy as possible, and how it’s acceptable to cower under a rock at the first sign of trouble or hardship.

 

anyway, before the electricity goes out I must go and make myself a hot chocolate and snuggle under my blanket

Whoa hand on there Steve! You need to rush out and buy 200 toilet rolls and 30 bags of pasta first!
