We've had a lovely day. Lots of sledging, walking and built a 2m tall snowman. It's to snow here for the next 24hrs too, so plenty more fun to come 😊

Bit blizzardy today from mid morning onwards. About 4 more inches of snow fell at low level. More further up the hill. Didn't affect the driving though.

Sunny, very light breeze but still a bit chilly at times. Beautiful day for a walk with the dogs in the forestry. The Old girl tires easily now but every day like this is a bonus 😊

Woke up to find the car and van covered in sand! Sky is a strange colour, forecast is for 19/20 degrees and sunny, 13 degrees at the moment,  0800. Only saw this twice, once over here and once in Dorset in, I think, 1989 when sand from the Saraha blew over.

Just seen this about the sand on the news, its coming from North Africa again as there is a massive storm brewing that is going to head across the Med in to Portugal and Spain,
