WHATS the best 3120 or ms880 thanks

I've not used either a massive amount, but found using an 88 for the first time it felt more like a slightly bigger 66 than the elephant of a saw that a 3120 is. Found the 88 easier to start, better balanced and if nothing else, the stihl bar is so less floppy than a husky one!

 

However, the 3120's still a beast though and for ringing up big stuff I'd be happy with either.

880 has more grunt, slightly more cc, and more torque.

Saws of that size are donkeys, sorry not very helpful its just i've been using my 088 today and glad it only comes out once in a while lol

Both are bloody heavy have a crap chain speed and prove unreliable !!! but definiety prefere the 88 when you need the torque.

Takes a little time to run-in but the 3120 all the way for me. Never used another big saw that cuts through hardwood with such accuracy.
