Yes, but you either want an adjustable one like the Petzl, or make one to the length of the stride you take. I don't use them but I assume youd measure from your foot with knee up to base of hand ascender.

If it is just from the hand ascender to a foot loop. Put the loop around your foot with you leg straight. The correct measurement approx will be at the bottom line f your chin. This means that when the leg is at 90 degrees you will be reaching up above your head but your arms won't quite be fully extended.

So being climbing alot on the wrench recently and am really enjoying it. I use a hand ascender for really long ascents. It's so quick getting up the tree. I stiffened the ether by ramming a small file down the shrink wrap which has made a difference. Still getting used to coming in from long limbs but getting there.

Ah I should of explained better. When I climb Ddrt I generally don't use redirects so using SRT I tend to go out like normal but then struggle coming back in but have started to use redirects.

SRWP is all about the redirects. At least for me it's the second best advantage.

Does anyone climb on Cougar Blue with their RW?

What have found to be the best hitch cord for Cougar Blue?

I do but I've not been climbing single line very long. I'm using 8mm Armor Pruss at the moment and it seems to be working just fine.

Daniel.
