Auckland would be one of the easiest places to find work as an arborist as its a large city and all the big companies such as treescape and asplundh are based there and always looking for climbers.Im based in the bay of plenty and work for a company in Tauranga called Arborcare who have the council contracts there and are also looking for climbers at the moment. Im looking at buying 70m but would prefer a visible colour so looking at orange with yellow fleck or lime with orange fleck. I have climbed on the orange/yellow and seems to have quite a bit of bounce especially compared to my cougar blue. Cheers

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
