Lots of Misleading Firewood Ad's on Ebay

Just done a 50 radius search from mine for firewood and am amazed by the amount of sellers misleading potential buyers by stating bulk bags are 1 ton of wood and 1 cubic metre etc, is also someone less then 5 miles from my selling a pick up load stated as 1 ton of logs.

Is it only a matter of time before this misleading advertising is clamped down on?

I may be wrong and the sellers are weighing each load, but i doubt it. Surely the only way we can advertising sensibly is by volume?!

skyhuck is correct. No one can Pimp your goods or services better than you can. Leave all of the others for the bottom feeders to buy from. The fact that your established and advertising your product means more to the informed consumer than the fly by nighter's will ever know or could.

As above they will get found out over time. Keep pushing your quality over their quantity.

I know someone who was looked at by trading standards for selling bulk bags as cubic meter bags.... a customer had called Trading Standards and complained. Mind you not much happened to them as a result :sneaky2:
