:lol: I dont think thats going to happen:001_rolleyes: Sorry to hear about your 50+ tonne being stolen Jon did they steal it on artics? because that sure is alot to go missing. I have a friend lives in Frome and he's got a log burner can i give him your contact details/website address as he'll be after good seasoned logs

certain softwoods stain in the sapwood as they dry out, to prevent this they are kept saturated, IIRC FC did this at a huge store in Thetford after the gale in 1987

 

 

 

 

EDIT: here you go a bit of info on the thetford one, I can remember driving past in when i was young Forestry Commission - News - great storm remembered
