Total and utter absolute scum. the lowest of the low. I canot find words to describe how much I despise the pond life that are responsible for this. I hope that they are found and incarcerated. I am utterly speechless, and really saddened.

I think that should be incinerated. This makes me realise what low life scum we are dealing with, with this particular group of people. They targeted a friends daughters horse this weekend to steal knowing that because of their profession they would be out of the country this weekend.

I find it totally incomprehensible why anyone would want to harm another creature, let alone take pleasure in causing it's death just for "fun". Their actions are utterly sickening and totally pointless.

And the travelling community whinge and wonder why they are reviled so much...

why would they want to drownd them with the traps still attatched ?

they could of been trying to cool the horses down ,& its gone wrong

may be some more info would clear it up

I really would like to think that there is a more innocent explanation of their behaviour, too. However, if it were my pony that was in difficulty (or any animal, come to that) then I would do everything possible to try and save it, and not stand on the by and rely on one total stranger to dive in and try to help.

Not a chance. These people are very experienced horse people.

I would be almost willing to bet my life on the fact that this was some sort of revenge attack.
