4m3 delivered today, Jon. Another 4m3 booked next week, the week after, and the week after that. That's all my delivery slots taken for this month...

 

Then a load more next month. I'm only a small-scale supplier, but never had such a rush this early in the season!

 

That's interesting, I have found things have been slower to start this year. I noticed a lot more phone calls in the last couple of days. Saying that I put out almost 80m3 in July, so maybe a lot more folk being prepared!

HI TOM i if get a cold winter then theres a lot of chaps will run out of cord thanks jon :thumbup:

Doing 50/50 hardwood and softwood this year due to lack of hardwood; actually now wish all I did was softwood; so much easier as it's so straight! I do like poker straight ash and beech 6-8" dimaeter tho phwooaarr!

 

Agree, last year we ran out of hardwood after christmas, I could not believe how much faster and easier just softwood deliveries was, got up to 15 metres on a good day, as opposed to 12 m3 with mixed loads/softwood loads, Everything is Hard about Hardwood from felling to processing and loading and stacking!
