The Royal family brings in millions every year in tourism and today will of helped a LOT of businesses, in a recession today has been a giant Lottery win for a lot of people and millions of folk have all got together and had fun.

to be fair, the wedding is a welcome break from all the news about people getting bombed or shot, also the alternative to the Queen as head of state really is vomit inducing - imagine it - President Blair or President Cameron.... either of these two as the figurehead of the UK is not a welcome thought.
