After having a nasty off on my 2019 husky TE250i snapping my ACL and destroying my knee plus getting old (feeling old) at 33. Always wanted an airhead so gone for a BMW R80 early 80s.

Just treated myself, couldn’t resist. Same colours and styling as my beloved XR125 from my learner days.

to me it’s everything a bike should be. Simple, air cooled, reliable, capable of going on or off road and with that unique big single torque that puts a grin on your face every time you open it up in third at thirty and it just goes.

God I’ve missed having a Honda.

Cracking bikes, look ridiculous but handle great off or on road, nice thumpy rattle too. K

My collection over the last five years.

The Triumph was traded in for the Ducati Streetfighter, which I've still got. The Superduke was a new buy and still got it. The SMT was sold to buy the 1190 Adv. Still got that too and it's probably the best bike I've ever owned.

Want to add a big cruiser at some stage, probably a Triumph Thunderbird Storm. And I'd like a KTM RC8R.
