Got the old girl MOTd last week for the first time in a couple of years. Was gobsmacked when the battery still had charge, and even more so when she started after ten seconds of turning over. good ol Honda. 
 

Then I went out and treated myself to something a bit newer and faster. To my mind, both are the prettiest things on two wheels. I love the look of them. 
 

 

I still have the old BMW F650 Funduro in the shed if anyone down south is looking for a cheap ride for summer.

I had the same until recently. It had to go due to needing funds for a new family car, but it has been the best and most versatile bike I’ve ever owned. Hopefully when I recover from my accident I’ll be able to buy another and ride again.  How I miss it!

Some thing else I wish I’d never sold looking at the prices of any 89 CR250 now

A fella at work had one of the "Red Rocket" CR250s air cooled and red engine hence the name, another "Lad" thought he would give it a go...hell it is only a 250!

Came back ashen...white as a sheet - apparently he hadn't experienced anything like it in his time. That was back in the early 80s - it was a bit of a weapon!

A friend of mine used to hill climb a full HRC kitted CR500, that was wild to watch, god only knows what it was like to ride, I never got up the nerve to try it.

Had the Triumph out Sunday for the first time this year. Had to get some of the kit out the shed first because she’s buried behind it🤔
