49 pushing 50. Served my time in the glory days with steve burkitt. When tree boys were born with beards. Now finding out why their bodies were such strange shapes. 4 years of shoulder ops pinning and stitching back together can climb cut split and do hedges again. Nice to know I can but about to go milling instead.

Steve Burkitt - there's a name from the past. I remember Steve When he did some subbing to Gifford Tree Service back in the late 80's early 90's

well it looks like i am one of the oldest at 60 nearly 59and 3/4 not that fit but can do most things and can give some young ones a run for there money

 

Still a spring chicken then! Not that much older than me at 55:thumbup:

I'm diamond tipped at 60

 

But I can still lift two four stone weights slowly above my head and clack them together!

(That's 2x56 lbs to the over 40s and 2x25kg for the young'uns.)

I am 45 and up ferret.
