been doing tree work for over 10 years only.

 

Hands are in bad state. Can't extend my fingers backwards, have pain running up joints and can't flex wrists more than i cm or 2. contstantly have lumps of skin falling off. Really worried about being able to work in future as i think my hands are screwed. ( going to see hnad doctor tomorrow )

 

anyone else with similar probs?

my fingers have only ever gone parallel to my palms, did yours used to further back??

 

my wrist's ache lots, part of getting older i guess.... how old are you mate ?

I have been surprised by how good my hands are (after 17 year of tree work) I know farmers and other outdoor workers who's hands are in a bad way, but mine are great.

im reguarly on steroid cream i started to suffer serious dermitius about 4 years ago! now comes and goes as it pleases mooistureise use gloves etc but they can crack up so much that i dont wanna move them at all !

 

suffer also from dead hands sometimes too not much to do about that one except watch what i do and to stop before they ger worse !

I've already got slipped tendons on the palms of my hands... not sure what the medical term for it is?!!

All i know is, they really give me jip and aparently the problem only gets worse! I'm actually quite concerned...might take your lead and see a quack about them

I dont wash my hands, which i think helps keep them in good nick IMO, although my joints do suffer.
