You are climbing in a fishermans body warmer, of course you are going to feel old coz you look it.:001_rolleyes:

Die your hair blonds, cut the sleeves off of a t shirt 3 sizes to wee for you, get a stein lid with the shades built in and get some gecko spikes, say ' yo dood' ' happening man ' and stuff and you will be well rad

Our very own Arbtalk Gok Wan

It's just great being in a position where you can choose which trees you work on and also what weather you work in- see it as a positive

Get your danger kicks elsewhere- don't ask me where

TBH, I find that often the most rewarding jobs I do are the ones that I don't really fancy and if I had the option I would skip, but once started I get into it and they usually go much better than anticipated.

From a fashion perspective todays look is to wear the lid close to the eyebrows and not show so much bonce......:001_tt2:

A nice pair of Stretchairs would let you move around easier and look alot better than those cavalry strides. A date with the tree surgeons fashion police is strongly recommended.....:001_tongue:

Is this your own situation or do you refer to mine?

.

It's mine though I was assuming you are close to or in that situation- you know- delegation and all that. Still, you got to work but in other ways. Plus you need a good gang to work with. I don't see it as a skive- in fact I find myself working some evenings or saturday morning just catching up on things especially if I've helped out during the week. It's passing knowledge on and it's surprising sometimes how much you accumulate after a good time on the tools.
