Aye I don’t really want to insult him as he’s a good friend though😂 on the plus side the misses seems happy for me to buy another gun so I might bide my time on this one.

Four ounces of #2 shot and 180 grains of FFg black powder.

Now that's soldiering.

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking Mike , I just fancied a 20 gauge in the cabinet.

May as well get them in before section 2 gets blended into section 1...

There should be a consultation, which will take several months, and if enough people reply the results will take longer to produce. (If it's like the other resent ones they'll ignore most of the replies). So it shouldn't affect renewals for a year or two.

The negative news around it will affect the 2nd hand market on shotguns though as even more people give up. I've already got a cheap spare safe for cartridges so ready for the changes.

Belting day today. No absconding, despite some properly viet cong close deer and hare. Worked closer than he has before. Still has no idea what he’s meant to be doing but somehow mostly achieves it anyway. Behaved impeccably with other dogs etc. Shrugged off a grumpy pointer a few times. Didn’t take ungentlemanly advantage of the little cocker bitch who loves him. One of the good days (to look back on when he makes a twat of me at some indeterminate forthcoming time).
