I'm 46

I will come out of the industry due to being pee'd off with the pressures of running the business before I give up due to not being able to climb

I could climb till I was 70 I reckon, but I couldn't put up with the bull till I'm 70

all them young guys giv the big1s the swerve......they aint learnt the bigger the tree the easier they are do

Aint that the truth. I'm 31 with 11 years climbing under my belt. I'm not on the tools every day and tend to only climb the bigger trees. Certainly young enough to climb all the time, but I know that I would get too bored spending all week climbing less challenging trees.

oh, im 26 by the way :sneaky2:

it must have been your dad i was talking to at the apf then steve:sneaky2::001_tt2:

i think genetics comes into it quite alot, some people can heal and recover quicker regardless of there age.

Even if your mind and personality refuses to let you quit your physical attributes can, if you lose your grip through arthritis, carpal tunnel etc it does not make any difference how many times you tell yourself you can do it, if you cant grip the rope its a problem. keep going as long as your happy as life is too short to be miserable at your work.:thumbup1:

I'm 19. I climb because I love it. Do the job because I love it. We all get those 'where did I sign up for this' moments from time to time. I've had a few but that's partly from starting up myself too.

Don't plan to stop. Looking forward to what life is going to throw at me
