Fair play to him, he has saved a few quid if he manages to burn it all himself (which is the plan), but the pictures don't do justice to the mental amounts of brushwood.

 

If he asked me to chip it I would want 3 days money including haulage, and another day for the cord.

Had to take a trip over to Hastings, Hawkes Bay to pick up the chipper after having a winch fitted and stopped off in Napier to see the City Council's street planting to get some ideas (seeing as Taupo's is non existant). Pretty much every street planted up. Puriri outside Mclean Park. Norfolk Pines along Marine Parade and just to show that just because someone plants a big tree in your view shaft it isn't going to block your view for ever and topping to retain the view ISN'T THE ANSWER. Are you listening Taupo District?
