Hedges done for another year!

No collections of Yew clippings this year which is a shame, I think we got a good couple of tons of these hedges again this year but it will all go on the bonfire.

 

This is the 7th time I've done these and its not getting any easier!!

Yes, I kind of dread it each year but always proud of the finished product. The Yew hedges in the pictures should take four days, but bad weather can drag it on longer.

 

There is also another day of Laurel hedges (done, not in photos) and a further 2 days still to do of box hedges and more laurels.

 

We have sorted the rates out so that on target is great, one day over shedule is not bad, and only a total screw up will make it a non earner. so that makes it more enjoyable.
