Worn mi boots after 6 months

My pfanner s have finally given up and got a hole in the sole, the uppers are still very good, if I could get them resoled I'd get another couple of years out of them.

 

They may be £240 but they have lasted three years, not many chainsaw boots last that long.

You can get them re soled, there are places you can send them or I took mine in to Timpson's on the high street

Bought these Pfanner boots 6 months ago and haven't had the heart to wear them because they were that pretty I didn't want to get them mucky

 

Bit of stunt mowing for Stevie too. Next time I mow I'll do a vid of wheelying the mower.

Are they the Zermatts ? I got a pair but find them a bit rigid . Good for spiking but not ground work

This is the condition of mine after 9 months. Super duper comfy. Soles wearing faster than I would think! Will need a new one by Christmas I think!

Yes they are zermatt gtx

 

They do get a bit more pliable as they bed in

Watch your crucial ligaments with those crampons Deano when your swinging the flymo, I twanged mine and had wear a brace for a week.

My bankings are to lumpy to walk with, so it's up and down with 25 ft of rope for about 100ms, if it's mega dry then the Scagg deals with it, so been all good in June.

The new flymos are great.

I have a 453, that's the 21" blade on, couldn't do without it an slopes like that and rough ground, like in graveyards...

Magical; 4 stroke and keeps going at more than 45deg

Stevie, only thing I've found with the crampons is I get cramp from a little muscle on the outside of my calf, it must be a muscle that doesn't work much walking about normally
