The only rope I've found comparable to Teufelberger Xstatic (11.7mm) is Liros Safe Plus Static (11.5mm). Previously called Tango StatX or Liros StatX. It's actually more static than the Teufelberger.

Marlow used to be great, but its on par cost wise with yale cordage rope,  both have limited stretch,  good for knots etc,

Also I have an old decommisioned rope and its rather strong to put it mildly.

Only problem fault with marlow can snag on leylanndii gads/ sharp stubs

Was Marlow ever a good rope to climb on? should be the question.

Like I said I’ve not looked past x static last 5 years Joe , it’s good to have some new recommendations though so thanks, I miss that about the forum !

It's a bit slippy to begin with. Same as most new lines. Seems to work with most systems though. Are you still hitch based?

It looks like the newer ropes are slightly better, but personally I'd reject being rescued by someone climbing on marlow

Still on hitch based , I’ve tried most mechanicals going and they where just not for me … I did change recently to an apex wrench though which I really liked to start off with as it tended so well but found more recently it binds the hitch up solid so I guess I still need to add some friction and have a play but I just don’t get the time like I used to to fine tune things.
