I godda say maybe its because I live in the " temperate " south but I have always used DM Chainsaws own oil ( don't know who makes it for them ) and never had an issue winter , summer , bank holidays or what ever . Its a non subject as far as I can say .

Yeah I get that, it was a fave for a while, same as brewdog, but now sadly hollow shells of their former selves. Locally they have Wainwright's which will do until I get to microbus in town or the boathouse in Wylam.

Neck oil is in loads of pubs round here but I can’t stomach it 🤮

mind you I won’t drink fosters or Budweiser either. A nice dark or amber ale, stout, mild, old ale or decent quality cold lager in the summer goes down a treat 👍

Bar oil I use Gator or Rotatech
