Thanks J. No pain and still enjoying a token chase after deer and hares until yesterday, a good way to go.

Sorry for your loss.

What breed was Santi?

Sorry to hear that Doug it's always a difficult time, I'm not long after losing my Lucy at the same age so how you feel is still very fresh in my mind, cheers.

This didn't half make the OH chuckle, we used to love a lie in for "Sunday morning yoga" sessions too, not so much these days though...

He was a Kelpie (Australian collie). Derived from the border collie.

We have a puppy (not a kelpie) ready to pickup from the southern part of Norway.  The weather has been pretty bad this weekend so hopefully we will get down there later in the week or next weekend.

My kids are really looking forward to getting their own dog.  I grew up with gun dogs and they have been really close to their grandads gun dogs but sadly he is no longer and the dogs went to a few of his hunting buddies.

I will be adding some pictures to this thread when she arrives.

My best childhood memories are of dogs, hope your kids enjoy having their own too. Looking forward to seeing the new pup on here.
