Can I burn cardboard in my stove?

No harm to the stove. 

 

If it is a lot of card it is a lot of work to make it burn got to rake the ash out constantly and if not the top layer will settle on the card below starving the oxygen so you don't get a complete burn.

 

Better I think to have a garden fire with it - more space for the ashes - and to mix card and wood.. but again will need some attention to rake over the ashes to get a good burn. Garden fork is good. The wood in the fire keeps it going while you do this

Free heat, whack it on!

 

Sine they changed the recycling bins here to a separate bin (every 3 weeks) for paper and card, I've never once put that bin out.

 

All paper and card is either burnt on the stove or composted (or used as weed suppressant).
